This is how I imagines they might react reading GoneViralBook.com — confused, bewildered and embarrassed:
Excerpt from Chapter 3 of “Gone Viral: How Covid Drove the World insane”
The Holy Covid Trio Are Terrible at Their Jobs
Whose idea was it to lock us all inside, eating takeout, getting fat, and going crazy with our kids for months on end? If you guessed Dr. Anthony Fauci, you’d be right. Early on in the pandemic, Dr. Fauci, the head of the NIAID and the highest-paid federal employee in the history of the United States, seemingly wondered aloud: Lockdowns worked for the CCP, why not for us? But it wasn’t always that way.
In an early 2020 interview with TRT World, Dr. Fauci lamented the use of lockdowns by the CCP to “limit the ability to travel freely of about 55 million people.”1 Within weeks however Dr. Fauci had done an about-face and recommended a two-week shutdown of the entire country in the month of March. That shutdown would be extended another forty days—and might be extended again.
I recall that fateful day in late March in a ceremony in the Rose Garden. Dr. Deborah Birx, another of the Team Apocalypse health overlords, declared that the lockdown was going to be extended. I tweeted that “Donald Trump just lost the election.”
This shocked a lot of people. I was an early supporter of President Trump when he ran for office and a strong defender of him during his tenure as president, but I wasn’t blind to demographics. If even 2 percent of the top age demographic stayed home in November 2020 because of Covid fears, Trump would lose.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I frequently encourage my colleagues to find the kindest interpretation of what they see in crazy world of Covid. One friend who was very close to the situation at the Trump White House conveyed to me his utter dismay at the ineptitude present in the Covid task force. I offered, “Perhaps they’re just trying to find the best way to save face in a difficult situation.” He replied: “No, Justin, these people are dumb. These people are very dumb.”
Here are the main players involved with the early stages the pandemic:
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the chief medical advisor to the president
Dr. Deborah Birx, who served as White House Corona- virus Response Coordinator under the Trump administration
Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry from 2018–2021
These players had their hand in every aspect of the pandemic response, and their decisions impacted every industry on the planet. There is not enough room in these pages to digest and dissect a play-by-play rehearsal of what these folks did, but the disastrous steps that they took can be seen in microcosm in how each one treated the mask debate.

One more for good measure. I imagine Jen Psaki is thinking: “Didn’t I cancel this guy?!”
Oops, you forgot Francis Collins and the first architect that brought in Birx: Matt Pottinger
A criminal at Twitter answered Psaki’s promptly: HANDLED.
