Drug overdose data just released by the CDC
Deaths for 12-month period ending June 2023 are still above 100K. California overdose deaths still growing. Florida falling. WV, OR, NV among the states seeing the biggest YoY increases.
Look at the changes from 2019. This is devastating families:
Probably means nothing. Certainly not related to lockdowns, closed schools, sadness brought on by irrational mandates and behaviors of Public Healthâ„¢. More likely, this rise in drug overdoses is due to climate change, unavailability of Beyond Meat for those who want it, and systemic racism.
