Facebook Files is out! Let me add something...
Robert Soave has posted an excellent thread on the FACEBOOK files - documents and emails he received about Facebook pushing the CDC agenda and working hand-in-hand to sustain the government narrative.
Readers of this Substack will know that Facebook tried to silence my account and many of our team members.
Here are some of the FOIAed documents I received back and the deposition to the Carol Crawford deposition:
*Page 121 under “Ways for Federal Agencies to Take Action Now", and “Address mis- and disinformation”: “Partner with technology companies and notify them of key messages to flag or remove. Ensure technology companies promote resources with credible, evidence-based information about COVID-19 vaccines beyond resources from federal agencies and healthdepartments.” (See page 6 of this document for context.)
• *Pg. 135: Vivek Murthy says that, “[Rising to the challenge of COVID] means social media companies taking responsibility for promoting accurate content and removing all blatant misinformation as well as more sublet, yet highly targeted, misinformation.” (See pages 6-7 of this document for context.)
• *Pg. 144: Vivek Murthy, answering a question on disinformation, says, “But we are also working closely with these social media companies and other platforms to push them, also, and partner with them on rooting out active disinformation campaigns. You know, I said at the top of this — top of this presser that it is all of our responsibilities to step up and to help address this crisis and get people vaccinated. And I specifically mentioned that—that we need social media companies and platforms to not only put out accurate information, but to root out both blatant and subtle disinformation that’s on their sites. I think they have work to do. We are certainly here to partner with them to get the job done. But clearly, you know, we still have way too much disinformation spreading on those sites. And it presents a clear and present danger, I believe, to people who need to be protected form COVID and who could potentially get vaccinated.” (See pages 6-7 of this document for context.)
Sole purpose of the censorship was to GET PEOPLE VACCINATED.
Those of us who used to be on Facebook, figured that out right away, when all our 2020 anti-narrative Covid posts were flagged as false by the fake fact checkers. Will anything be done about it, is the burning question?
