New Mask Study Confirms: N95s Don't Work Either!

RCT study shows that the efficacy of medical masks vs. N95s made no difference whatsoever

One would hope that someone ANYONE would design a full-proof study of masks using a random control trial which INCLUDES a control group that DOESN’T wear masks. Alas, it’s hard to find any healthcare facility which doesn’t DEMAND the donning of the face diaper these days.

However, we can look at recent study just released with two “random” groups - one set of healthcare workers wearing medical masks and the other group wearing N95 respiratory masks. The results?

About 10% of each group of HC workers got the ‘rona:

The 95% confidence intervals destroyed any difference between the two groups. Our logic runs thus:

1. Medical masks are little more than “facial decorations” (CNN).

2. N95 masks performed no better than medical masks.

3. Ergo: masks do not work, regardless of type.

This is just ONE MORE RCT mask study to add to the 10+ studies that have been performed before the pandemic - NONE of them showing ANY benefit to masking:

But, it seems we have to go over the literature again and again - and we have HUNDREDS of new subscribers here - so let’s do it. First, we need to talk about the ACTUAL harms of masks:

1. Let's go back 100 years. We knew mask mandates didn't work then. This article from the 1918 pandemic!

3. A study from Nature.com notes a host of nasty viral hosts on discarded masks. "…cultured masks contained up 94 bacterial colonies on the face-side. while 95% of 13 unique fungal genera were identified on the outer-side of masks"

   

4. CDPH published guidelines on masking children which are not only contrary to the data but also fly in the face other govt agencies They suggest KN94/5’s for children & N95s in “older kids” NIOSH does not actually approve any type of mask or respirator for children. In fact, they note the sale of respiratory protection for children to be a sign of a counterfeit mask.

13. Boston Globe: "[Mask-free] students reported 'happier hallways,' 'contagious smiling,' and better class discussions. With fewer masks, English language learners and students learning foreign languages reported better communication."

14. TabletMag: "Fifty-nine percent of U.K. teachers in April 2021 stated that asking pupils to wear masks made understanding them a “lot more difficult.” We know that when someone conceals their lips it’s harder to comprehend what they’re saying."

15. SF Chronicle: "Every student is struggling with pronunciation/recognizing letter sounds. 'I am often the only adult they interact w that can articulate the sounds, but they can’t see my mouth.' It's especially hard on autistic students."

16. German study: “Top German scientists have found that wearing certain types of face masks for long periods of time could result in potentially hazardous chemicals and harmful microplastics being inhaled deep into human lungs.”
