Rules are for thee, not for me!
Hypocrisy was the name of the game and our health overlords were just full of it.

On today’s podcast, we’ll be discussing the NEVER-ENDING parade of hypocrisy of our elected officials. They say one thing, and they do another. Rules are for thee, not for me!
Here were some of our favorite moments of maddening hypocrisy. We’ll review some of these and many, many more on the show.
In August 2020, as the second wave of Covid began to hit across the country, attendees of MTVs Video Music Awards were granted exemptions from New York City’s extreme pandemic rules, requiring out-of-state visitors to quarantine themselves for 14 days upon arrival or face massive fines. Not for these celebrities!
The next month, Speaker the House Nancy Pelosi, who verbally championed business shutdowns as a means to stop the pandemic, was caught getting her hair done off-hours at a hairdresser that was otherwise forbidden to take clients in San Francisco.
Also in San Francisco, it was revealed that city government employees could enjoy the privilege of office building gyms while private gyms were forced to shut their doors.
Like many members of Congress, private travel keeps you away from the rabble. In September 2020, California Senator Diane Feinstein was seen entering a private airplane terminal without wearing a mask. Her staff, the crew and pilots were all fully masked of course.
In Alexandria City Virginia, the superintendent of schools put his daughter in school so that she might have access to in-person learning, something he forbade the public schools he oversaw from doing.
Jerome Adams, The US Surgeon General at the time, was fined an arraigned in Hawaii for entering a park that had been closed. Adams was part of the White House task force which spearheaded the national strategy of “14 days to end the spread” which, as of this writing, is now 730 days to slow the spread.
In El Paseo Texas, City Attorney said that citizens need to take responsibility to stop the COVID-19 crisis. She was then outed on social media hosting a maskless birthday party with her daughter with members of outside families – a big no-no under those city’s guidelines.
The dinner heard round the world took place in November 2020 as Gavin Newsom was seen eating and cavorting at The French Laundry, one of the finest (and most expensive) restaurants in the world, maskless with people who were not part of his household. The hypocrisy stunned even his most ardent supporters.

Lori Lightfoot, who never met a lockdown policy she didn’t like defended a street party she held as a rally for Joe Biden, infringing several of her own lockdown policies.
Governor Andrew Cuomo, who would resign in disgrace, first solidified his stature as hypocrite-in-chief by planning to host his 89-year-old grandma for Thanksgiving – something he forbad other New Yorkers from doing. He would later admit that he traveled to Mississippi where his own daughters had fled – something, again, that he strongly encouraged New Yorkers NOT to do.
In November 2020, the Mayor of Denver, Michael B. Hancock was seen waiting for a plane at Denver International Airport. His official account tweeted out at that same hour: “Avoid travel if you can.”

That same month, Los Angeles Supervisor Sheila Kuehl voted to ban all outdoor dining. Something she described as “a most dangerous situation.” Hours before the vote she was seen dining at Il Forno Trattoria in Santa Monica. She later excused herself saying that she wanted to be one of the first ones to tell the restaurant staff the bad news.
The mayor of Austin, Texas, Steve Adler told the public in a Facebook video to “stay home if you can… this is not the time to relax.” He did not disclose that the video was made on vacation in Cabo, San Lucas.

Dr. Birx, the key advisor on the Covid taskforce, warned Americans about traveling over Thanksgiving. It was later revealed that she traveled and met 3 generations of her household at her own Thanksgiving celebration.
Sarah Chambers, an executive who sits on the board of the Chicago Teacher’s Union snapped a but fun beach selfie on a beach while not in Chicago after strongly encouraging all teachers to stay home and stay safe.
In the UK news reports found the fine print of stay-at-home orders which allowed for senior executives of various companies to leave quarantine if the activities had “significant financial benefit.”
Texas Democratic lawmakers employed a tactic to stall a bill in the local legislature by leaving the state altogether. They traveled on a private plane and took selfies maskless of course.
In August 2021, numerous celebrities and lawmakers were seen at former President Obama’s birthday bash – all of them maskless.
London Breed, the mayor of San Francisco, presided over perhaps the most stringent Covid policies any city had witnessed in the United States. She was caught on camera numerous times, maskless and cavorting inside against her own policies.

The never-ending
It's not hypocrisy, it's knowledge. The monsters KNOW there's no risk. If they thought there was a real epidemic they would be protecting themselves MORE than the peasants.
Need to add New Orleans mayor Cantrell! She had a big old maskless ball after reinstating the indoor mask mandate! https://www.foxnews.com/politics/new-orleans-mayor-latoya-cantrell-maskless-mask-mandate
