One would have to be insane to vaccinate one's children...higher risk from the vaccine than from the disease, and no benefit of any sort ascertainable. What's not to like? Sheesh.

These committee members seem to have no knowledge of the VAERS numbers for 12+. I am absolutely shocked that they recommended this for a population at essentially zero risk. They openly admit they are doing it to appease parents who are uninformed and reacting from irrational fear.
Sometimes I think I must be missing something and things can't possibly be as they are. And then something like this, something really really wrong and I know there is evil at work. These legal cases need to get moving right NOW. So sick...I can accept adults making their own decisions, whether they seem to have all the info or not. But who in their right mind would give this to children. I guess a puppy torturer killer or someone like that...

So, as frightening and maddening as the FDA AdComm was yesterday, I did pull somewhat of a silver lining out of it, and it's from the craziest statement of the day: "We're never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it. That's just the way it goes." Could not believe it when it was said, but having thought about it, it's the piece of truth I have needed. See, I'm divorced with two twins (boy and girl) who turn five in early November. My ex-wife, well, she's not crazy pro-vaccine, but she's not batting .406 for Team Reality either. Her basic position regarding the kids is, "I want to sit down with their Doctor." I'm all for that and I am very much on top of my game regarding the vaccine situation so I am prepared for a balanced and informed conversation regarding clinical end points and medical benefit for my kids. But now, after the statement above from the AdComm, I am going to directly quote that to both my ex-wife and the pediatrician. How can any pediatrician have watched that AdComm and then say with a straight face to a measured and informed parent that the vaccines are "safe." Our own FDA AdComm has admitted that they have no idea what the side effect profile will be. In the absence of a mandate (unclear how that will play out in my blue state), I do believe that the statement above will be one of the most persuasive arguments in support of my current opposition to vaccinating children. My position has always been based on the unproven side effect profile and lack of a long-term safety profile for the mRNAs. I've been clear that I don't oppose vaccination in general, I simply want to exercise caution. The AdComm offers me the best evidence yet that I have every reason to be cautious. In the absence of a mandate, I think it will go a long way in inducing caution in my ex-wife.
It's unbelievable. They won't even allow / plan for control groups in the general population once the mandates arrive. This is not science in any way, shape or form.
