Teachers created a covid coping issue at school, kept kids out of school for nearly 2 years, while they threatened and whined they weren't "safe", which was a bold face lie. NOW they are basically robbing kids of further days in school by self-declaring "mental health" days, and just not showing up at school. This is utter nonsense.
They fostered terror, within their ranks long after cov19 was understood and refused to go back in the classroom. Using past grievances as a hidden excuse to make foolish demands. IF we as parents keep the kids home, enmasse will there be any awakening to just how bad these schools will look if we move our kids to Private schools, that will actually teach our kids and NOT use them as a bargaining tool? Parents have had just about enough of schools teaching EVERYTHING but core subjects. Math Lanuage and Science... what happened to those? We can see you'd rather teach CRT, transgender indoctrination, and hating America in lieu of the former. We are sick of it, and if you can't show up, get a therapist, or go work elsewhere. Kids deserve the best, and you aren't qualified if this is how you choose to run our schools.
