This has nothing to do with covid. schools need to figure out workable ways to give teachers/staff the occasional (likely needed) work from home day without disrupting parents. i have no problem with kids sometimes having a class where they work independently with a class monitor so that teachers can get a break and catch up on paperwork and personal affairs.
