Good bless all the Momma Bears that are fighting for real life for their children. If this doesn’t happen then I shudder to think of the warped and twisted adults these poor kids will turn into. It’s already starting to happen. The people who planned all this know it as well as we do. But they WANT a warped and twisted populace that will obey and be thankful for whatever crumbs they will so generously dole out to the serfs. They will gladly welcome a digital hellscape they can flee into.
We must push back unceasingly and never let these evil bureaucrats, elitists and their corporate lackeys off the hook.
Here's what I wrote yesterday to my school board representative:
am the parent of a son who goes to and will be headed to next fall.
I'm writing to ask that the board start pushing back on the unelected Jeffco Board of Health with regard to their continued school mask mandates. Sadly, none of the mitigation strategies the JCBH has implemented (masks, distancing, vaccines) have stopped this most recent explosion of covid cases in Jeffco. It is crystal clear that masking our kids (especially the type and manner that kids wear masks) is completely useless with regard to stopping the spread of this airborne virus.
There is no scientific evidence whatsoever that shows masks do anything to stop the spread of a highly transmissible airborne virus. There is plenty of evidence that it harms kids (other potentially more dangerous germs collect in masks, CO2 levels can rise to dangerous levels, kids can not discern facial cues, they make everyone look robotic and it's depressing, kids can not see their friends or teachers smiling faces, teachers spend an inordinate amount of time policing how the kids are wearing the masks, and the list goes on).
Other counties (Douglas), entire states (Florida, Texas) and entire countries (UK, Sweden) have not force-masked their kids and there is no discernable difference in outcomes compared to heavily masked areas.
Parents who are still scared of this virus have many options: send their kids to school with well fitted NK95 masks, double or triple vax their children, or opt for virtual school. This is now a situation where every parent has many tools to keep their families safe.
I just received an email saying the contact tracing system isn't reliable or working and they are discontinuing this.
Isn't it time to discontinue all of it? Masks, testing and quarantines of the asymptomatic, different rules for the unvaccinated? The CDC guidance is confusing and feckless. The JCBH just blindly parrots the CDC. It's time for the board of education to stand up, be leaders, and say enough is enough.
I am assuming that it is an actual letter, was just wondering why the writer signed it plurally as Moms of America if it was from one mom. Anyway, the point are all valid!!!

They are just relaxing mask rules for secondary school pupils in the UK. We never had them for under 11s.
