It’s important to retain a memory of how we let ourselves get sucked into the pandemic response. The masks, the vaccines, the lockdowns, the censorship — collectively, we have a lot to repent for. The kindest interpretation: we let ourselves get carried away with panic — foisted on us by our health overlords.

Right. Never forget anything that has happened. Do not forgive and forget. Mark every one of the people who orchestrated, manipulated and benefited from this in your mind. Mark the people in your life who you once thought of as friends who shunned you from a gathering because you were unvaxxed or didn't believe masks worked. Remember the people who ever called for segregation, denying hospital access or uttered a phrase like "plague rat" or "grandma killer". These people have all shown you their true selves.
I hate everything represented here. (Not your writing) just the subject matter. Im not squimish, nor faint of heart. But the mask proaganda has scarred me. I didn't wear them, was never afraid, got c19, still fine. But the mask propaganda is ABSOLUTE EVIL. Anyone promoting it should be slapped into oblivion.
2020 & beyond removed the masks from the people, now we know exactly who people are: victims, tyrants, sheep, zombies... patriots, and freedom fighters
Why are nearly all of them women and / or women "of color"? A cynic might conclude that the pandemic was never about health and was, ultimately, just another vessel to advance politics.
