Our Monday podcast with Laura about the 10 bills wending their way through the California legislature was eye-opening. JOIN US TODAY AT NOON PACIFIC / 3PM EASTERN LINK TO MONDAYs PODCAST. Here is the current status of the bills: The good news SB 920 pulled. Would have allowed medical boards access to private patient records.
Justin, Many thanks for the transcript. Allowed me to learn in seven minutes what would otherwise have taken an hour. That matters. And cheers for the good things you are doing...they are really important.
Terrific news about SB 920 and AB 1993 getting pulled!! Two down, eight to go.
I am planning to write a letter regarding these bills but need to juggle with other deadlines. You mentioned the bills are listed in order of hearing date, but I haven’t found those specific dates yet. Can you please provide those if it isn’t too much trouble? Mainly, I need to know what the deadline for submitting public comments is.
For the bills in limbo (SB 1390, SB 866, SB 871), should we submit public comments about those now or wait in case it’s moot?
