I hold out great hope after today even while West point turned up the heat on my unvax'd immune son. Surgeon General denied his exemption request, in violation of Armys own policy exempting the immune from vax. I suggested he out process - he doesn't want to leave and still thinks it's his choice. It's not his choice at all. I pray he stays strong. He's only 1 of about 20 on campus who haven't been vax'd. Others have left.
Our youngest son is USMA class of 2018. He took both shots this spring under pressure to "set a good example" and I was heartsick over it. So far he's doing fine. But if he were still at West Point I would have begged him to leave before taking the shots. Our eldest is waiting to hear if his exemption request is accepted by the lab he works for, an ethical exemption request based on use of fetal cells in test and production of these shots. I've told him to quit before taking them and I think he would but don't know for sure.
This seems like war on young men because myocarditis is for keeps, but these young guys don't want to have to trash a promising career.

Praying your son makes the right decision.
“I love the smell of napalm in the morning.” 😉
