likely a typo. or just lie. but even if they adhust the total, still easy to manipulate. they can test all nonvaccinated hospital admissions or just test nonvaccinated everywhere no matter the symptoms, and only record cases for vaxxed with explicit symptoms, if any. they used to do it that in the Bay Area last year. not sure if that's what they do in SF but again, it's easy to generate misleading data here.
Not sure about the discrepancy but agree there are a number of ways they fudge the data. Many jurisdictions include unknowns in the unvaccinated status but and their system automatically defaults to unknown unless the patient was vaccinated in the hospital system. So if a patient is vaccinated at Walgreens or something they’re often counted as unvaccinated unless hospital staff manually changes their status.
Some jurisdictions put out these numbers daily then retroactively match weeks later when nobody is paying attention to old numbers. New York was caught doing this.
Is there a hospitalization break out by age and other health status? Thank you.
Wait till the fertility numbers come in.
Dreadfully gullible population in SF, apparently.
Wow!
Gonna be one hell of a winter!

It’s because the numbers represent case rates, not raw cases.
haha I suspect they were fricassee'ing that data!
