This is why, for example, we have climate researchers who are all about citing the lies and exaggerations of the climate change fiasco, while talking about how great it is that we were able to develop such wonderful vaccines in such a short amount of time, or people who have spotted the hypocrisy of the endless war state and mock ridiculous US foreign policy, while never spotting the clear lack of logic in the "renewable energy" policies. Adults know that governments lie, and they lie about everything, not just one thing.

I've always suspected that specialists such as the infamous Prof Neil Ferguson of Imperial College, whose models were used (or abused) to justify that ridiculous, paranoia that followed.
