I try to dig into the background of these self-imagined "superiors" to learn more about them, where they came from, what made them think they're better than everyone else. For a public figure as notable as David Morens his internet biographical footprint is lighter than most. Especially someone who's been in positions of influence for as long as Morens has been - since the 1970's.
He has lots of research papers easily discovered on the internet. But not even a Wikipedia. That even minor pubic health figures have these days. That's only the case intentionally. There's at least always "stubs" on Wiki, none for Morens. Indicates if there was one it was scrubbed.
But there's not even lengthy bios for him on his places of employment, professorships, media, very little. More indication his information has been heavily scrubbed. Or kept very light. Which could indicate intelligence agency affiliation or DOD.
First thing that stands out to me is that Morens has a long, long history with Fauci. a part of the AIDS bioterror campaign the US government is responsible for. Author Celia Farber explains a lot about Fauci and AIDS since she was an investigative journalist in the 1980's at the time that terror campaign was launched:

Which indicates to me that Morens came into the medical field from the psychological manipulation and coercion angle. Which fits in nicely with Farber's characterization of Fauci's career. And why they've been joined at the hip for nearly fifty years in the field of infectious disease. Fear of infectious disease is a major psychological weapon wielded as "Disease Politics" with a long, long history. To fundamentally transform a nation of free people into a totalitarian nation.

My impression of the man is that he’s not particularly smart (he lied, claimed memory loss, lied again, and so on) and he’s getting himself in serious perjury trouble. He’s not doing Fauci and Daszak any favors either.
He may well be involved in helping with the Wuhan cover up (and possibly the vaxx too) but he’s not very good at it.

Considering Fauci’s love of positive press coverage, I don’t think it’s surprising that his chief aide got very little attention.
