As a former Trump voter (2X) I'm really disheartened by his attacks on DeSantis. The ads that are being run here in south Florida are way worse than anything Charlie Crist ran during the governor's race in 2022. It will absolutely impact the Florida Republicans in 2026. Not to mention the ads are blatantly unfair, ugly, and misleading. I have lived in Florida for 20+ years and we've had a number of good governors in my time here, but Ron DeSantis is by far the best. He truly distinguished himself during the pandemic. If Trump thinks DeSantis did such a crappy job, why did he relocate his residence here, along with many of his kids? I'm just sick of it, to the point Trump is making it hard for me to vote for him if he's the nominee. Of course that's a disaster, too, because another 4 years of the Biden admin is horrible to contemplate. Knock it off Trump. PLEASE.
Trump is a clown. Always will be. Yes, the Dems are atrocious especially about COVID, but that does not change Trump’s clown status. It also does not change the fact that Kamala and Joe are abysmal. The U.S. government is led by a parade of jackasses year after year. We seem unable to change that fact unfortunately.

I believe at this point Trump’s focus is completely on hurting DeSantis. It supersedes being president again. He’s already got his excuses for voter fraud ready and his army of Orange goblins will continue to make his excuses and buy his merch. We really deserve better but in the end we’ll get what we vote for.
